Russia and Ukraine delegations are meeting for a second round of talks in Belarus. As tweeted by Ukraine’s Presidential Adviser Mykhailo Podolyak informs that another round of the #RussiaUkraine negotiations has started.
Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, that the Ukrainian side had deliberately delayed their arrival, and suggested that the Ukraine is a puppet state of the United States.
Also on Thursday, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said a Russian delegation was in Belarus waiting for their Ukrainian counterparts.
Delegations from both countries were due to meet on Wednesday for a second round of talks.
The first round of talks on Monday lasted for five hours and ended without a breakthrough.
On the other side, War is on between Russia and Ukraine. Russian Forces captured Kherson. The Ukrainian military reports that Kherson, a strategic port city in southern Ukraine, is now under Russian control. Shelling has intensified in other parts of the country.
Also, Russian army is firing missiles in some major cities including Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sukachi, Buka and Kiev. The scene of devastation is clearly visible from the satellite images.
The southeastern Ukrainian city of Mariupol came under siege from Russian forces Thursday, as Moscow sought to tighten its grip on the south of the country and the humanitarian crisis appeared to dramatically worsen, CNN reported.
