Sumit To Pay Rs.10,000 To Wife Tapaswini
Orissa High Court has asked Dr Sumit Sahu to pay Rs.10,000 per Month to her wife instead of Rs.17,000 per month.
Sumit’s family have filed a petition seeking reduction in the maintenance amount assuring arrangements of Tapaswini’s accommodation elsewhere.

Admitting the plea, the court directed Sumit to pay Rs 10,000 to his wife instead of Rs 17,000 as ordered by a lower court earlier.
But, as said by the Court, Tapaswini will stay at her in-laws’ house till the next hearing of the case.
High Court earlier had upheld the ruling of the Berhampur district court which had ordered Sumit to pay a maintenance allowance of Rs. 17,000 to his wife by 10th of every month.
