Telangana Minor Rape Case: Accused Found Dead On Railway Track

Hyderabad: The main Telangana rape accused involved in the brutal rape and murder of a 6 year old girl in Telangana, Pallakonda Raju, was found dead on the railway track near Ghanpur station on Thursday.

Pallakonda Raju, the Telangana Rape accused in the brutal rape and murder of a 6-year-old girl from Telangana, absconding since the day of the event that took place on September 9th, was found dead on a railway track near Ghanpur Station in the state. According to reports, after an informal information, the Ghanpur station police reached the spot and started investigating the matter. After a preliminary investigation, it was revealed that Raju’s death was a clear case of suicide. According to sources, Raju’s suicide was witnessed by a passerby who tried to stop him, but he ran and got hit by the Konark Express.

Raju was on run from the police since the incident. The police had however shared Raju’s photo across various place in the state, they had hung posters with Raju’s face across the state, and 15 special teams were also formed to nab Raju. Liquor stores across the state were also being kept an eye on. Raju’s family and friends were also under heavy scanner, said police sources. Raju was completely focused on running away, he never contacted his family or friends, said police sources.

In the meanwhile, the police have launched a case in the matter. Raju’s family were also called to identify the body.

Notably, Pallakonda Raju, the 30-year-old Telangana rape accused, raped, murdered and kept the body of a 6-year-old minor girl inside closed doors. The incident took place on 9th of September, this year. After searching for there daughter for quite sometime, the family of the victim, who had prior doubts on Raju, burst opened his locked house doors and found the dead body of the minor. A case was registered and the police had spread across the state and neighbouring states to nab the culprit. Meanwhile, few politician had also allegedly refered to kill the accused by encounter, once he was nabbed.
