Chandipur, July 1: After an unsuccessful attempt in the second round test fire of Barak-8, the Medium Range Surface to Air missile, the third test fired proved to be successful at the Integrated Test Range (ITR) launch pad at Chandipur on Friday Morning.
Sources said, the Missile launch had been conducted at 10:27 PM from launch pad number-3.
Notably, the second round test fire of the Barak-8 Missile had failed which was conducted on Thursday afternoon. After going up to around 500 meters in the air, it had nosedived. But on Thursday morning it stated off on a positive note.
