Third Terminal in Biju Patnaik International Airport soon: Dharmendra Pradhan

Bhubaneswar: February 24:One more Terminal will be added to Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA), Bhuabneswar. Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan informed to Media on Saturday while laying foundation stone for several developmental works to be undertaken at Airport.

The Third terminal shall be constructed to increase the capacity of the Bhubaneswar Airport and also to enhance flight operations. The estimated cost for the construction of the third terminal will be Rs.900 crore and it will on the west side of the Airport.s

Union Petroleum Minister laid foundation stones for various other developmental projects at Biju Patnaik International Airport and said, the gap between the old Airport and new Airport shall be linked by a terminal building in between. Also, Airport will have more Air bridges for the convenience of Passengers.

On this occasion, Dharmendra Pradhan also spoke about the Jharsuguda Airport, which has been named after Veer Surendra Sai. He further added, this will be connected to Delhi, Kolkata and Hyderabad from the first week of March.
