Dance Bars sealed in Bhubaneswar
Excise Department and Twin City Commissionerate Police sealed three dance bars in Bhubaneswar last night. As alleged, they have engaged dancers without permission and also violated COVID-19 norms in the city.
Sources said, The joint team raided 7 bars of the Capital City and sealed three of them for allegedly engaging dancers without permission and violating COVID-19 norms in the city.
Nasha Lounge, Live It Up Restaurant and Ekamra Bar were sealed where rest 4 bars were issued show-cause notice for functioning after 9.30 PM and violating COVID rules.
Recently, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation had sealed two bars in Bhubaneswar for allegedly operating beyond the prescribed closing time.
