Jajpur, Apr 6: On Wednesday at Pataballi village under Tamka police limits here, a woman and her daughter with another minor girl. got electrocuted when they got in contact with a live wire. The name of the woman and the child is Tilottama Behera(55), Sima Behera (22) and a 5-year old Puspalata Mahanta. Tilottama and Sima died on the spot and the minor girl was rushed to a hospital where she died. The mishap happened when a branch of a tree fell on an 11 kv live wire from an electric pole, which broke and fell upon the victims outside their house. Following this, outraged locals conducted a road block ahead of the Tamka police station on NH-200. To bring law and order in the heated up situation, the Kalinga Nagar Additional SP along with police force reached the spot.
