Bhubaneswar: May 15: 48 new cases have been reported today in Odisha, taking the total of the cases in the State to 672.
Balasore and Ganjam have registered 12 cases each.
10 cases have been detected in Puri District, 6 cases in Bhadrak District, 3 cases in Nayagarh District and 2 cases in Jajpur District.
Also, Deogarh, Sundergarh and Cuttack District have reported one case each.
As per the information provided by I & PR department, all the 12 cases in Ganjam District are Surat Returnees and also in quarantine.
Out of 12 cases in Balasore, 7 are West Bengal Returnees, 2 Surat Returnees, 1 Maharashtra Retirnee and all are in quarantine centers. From rest two cases, one is a Delhi Returnee and other one is a contact case. But, both are in Home quarantine.
All 10 cases in Puri District are Surat Returnees and in quarantine centers.
All six cases in Bhadrak District are West Bengal Returnees and in quarantine centers.
Two cases in Jajpur District are Surat Returnees ans in quarantine centers.
Three cases in Nayagarh District are Surat Returnees and in quarantine centers.
1 Delhi Returnee and rest one is a contact case.
Rest three cases detected today in Cuttack, Deogarh and Sundergarh are also in quarantine centers.
