Bhubaneswar: May 23: Total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases has reached 1,25,101 on Saturday. So far, a total of 51,783 people have been cured. In the last 24 hours, 3,250 patients were found cured. This takes the total recovery rate to 41.39%. Since yesterday, an increase of 6654 has been noted in the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in India.
Also, as per the information provided by Health Ministry, 69,597 cases are active in India as on Saturday and the death toll rose to 3720.
No.of positive cases in Maharashtra has reached 44,582 today, followed by Tamilnadu (14,753), Gujarat (13,268), Delhi (12,319), Rajasthan (6,494), Madhya Pradesh (6,170), Uttar Pradesh (5,735), West Bengal (3,332) and Andhra Pradesh (2,709).
