Bhubaneswar: May 16: A total of 30,150 people have been cured. In the last 24 hours, 2233 patients were found cured. This takes the total recovery rate to 35.09 %.
The total number of confirmed cases is now 85,940. Since yesterday, an increase of 3970 has been noted in the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in India.
2752 people have already died so far due to Coronavirus Disease. Also, 53,035 active cases are there in the country.
Maharashtra has the highest number of cases among States. It has 29,100 COVID-19 cases as on Saturday. Tamilnadu has 10,108 cases, followed by Gujarat (9,931), R.ajasthan (4727), Madhya Pradesh (4595), Uttar Pradesh (4057), West Bengal (2461) and Andhra Pradesh with 2307 cases.
