Tusker attack leads to death of man in Dhenkanal Odisha

Dhenkanal, Dec 8: Today morning at around 5 am, a man who was under treatment in the hospital, after being attacked by an elephant, died. The name of the victim was Sambhari Pradhan belonging to Jamujhara village under Kamakhyanagar sub-division here.

It’s stated that while returning to Jamujhari from Pandua Chhak last evening, he was attacked by the tusker and sustained grievous injuries as the elephant trampled him. At first he was taken to the Dhenkanal district headquarters hospital but as his condition started to worsen, he was shifted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack and died this morning.
