Bhubaneswar: July 27: Twin City Police is optimistic of a major breakthrough to nab the person involved in serial killings in Cuttack.
It is to be noted, somebody has killed three homeless persons sleeping on the roadside of the Cuttack City in a span of 24 hours.
As said by Twin City Police, all the murders seem to have been committed by the same person as because the wounds on the three bodies appear to have been done by similar weapon’.
Twin City Police believe, some ‘psycho killer’ has been targeting the homeless people sleeping on the streets.
Speaking to Media, Twin City Police Commissioner Satyajit Mohanty said, “We have gathered some information, on which we are working out.But, I think, it’s not the time to disclose all these as it will hamper the ongoing investigation process. But, we are taking all sorts of measures so that the killer can’t go out of State and we can nab him.”
Commissionerate Police has formed team 4-8 members comprising an ADCP, an ACP, 2 inspectors, 4 personnel ranking sub-inspectors and constables for the investigation of the case.
