Bhubaneswar: April 29: Due to unfavourable weather, two flights could not land at Biju Patnaik International Airport on Friday afternoon. One Air India Flight coming from Varanasi and other one Indigo Flight coming from Bengaluru were diverted to Kolkata as Bhubaneswar experienced strong shower accompanied by hailstorm today after 1.30 pm.
The Air Traffic controller did not permit the flights to land in Bhubaneswar due to weather condition. It is learnt that both the flights landed in Kolkata.
