Bhubaneswar: April 29: People of Twin-city experienced respite from scorching heat as strong showers accompanied by hailstorm lashed the region at around 1.30pm on Friday.
Residents of Bhubaneswar were expecting to witness another heat day like yesterday and as expected, heat was intense in Bhubaneswar till noon, but post 1 pm changed the scenario completely with strong showers and hailstorm.
People were seen enjoying the supported weather on the roads and streets. Up to noon, Bhubaneswar recorded 41.6 degree Celsius whereas Cuttack registered 38 degree Celsius.
