Nayagarh, Nov 9: Three vehicles parked on the premises of district Excise office were torched by few unidentified miscreants on late Tuesday night.
As per sources, a bolero, a jeep and a bike were set on fire by the miscreants that were parked at the premises of Excise office. On receiving the information, fire officials rushed to the spot and managed to get the flames under control.
It is suspected that in a fit of anger following raids conducted by the Excise department on Tuesday, some liquor shop owners have torched the vehicles. However, the exact reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained.
