Koraput, Oct 17: While raiding a gambling hideout, villagers of Borigumma attacked Koraput police on Sunday night.
The incident happened at Gumuri village where more than hundred villagers attacked a police team of 15 members following which Jeypur IIC, Ambaguda IIC and Boriguma IIC sustained injuries during the attack.
Two police van were also damaged by the villagers, sources informed.
