Khurdha, Jan 6: Yesterday, when 9 miscreants attempted to loot a fish godown, seven among them were detained by the villagers. The incident happened at Chotipalanga here.
Sources informed, the looters came on four bikes and while they were inside the fish godown the villagers managed to nab them by locking them inside.
Later, the police arrived at the spot after the villagers informed about the incident and surrendered them the arrested the looters.
However, two of them managed to escape from the spot. Police also seized knives, sharp weapon, and two motorcycles from the looters.
