New Delhi, April 15: Tata Sons-promoted full service carrier, Vistara Thursday rolled out a special scheme under which business class passengers booking one ticket under same passenger name record (PNR) will get 50 per cent discount.

The scheme, which does not apply to flights operating on Delhi-Goa and Mumbai-Goa sectors, allows minimum two and maximum four Vistara customers to travel together in the business class on weekend at a flat 50 per cent discount in fares.

The offer is only applicable to the maximum of four passengers booked under the same Business Class PNR and all passengers must travel together, Vistara said in a release.

This weekend scheme is applicable on both one way and return travel in business class during weekends (all day Saturdays and up to 4 PM departure time on Sundays) for booking made from April 14 to May 15 and for travel from April 16 to May 15, the airline said.

Meanwhile, the airline also announced the launch of its flight services to Kochi from the national capital via Mumbai.

The airline will operate daily direct flights from Mumbai to Kochi, and daily same-aircraft flights from New Delhi to Kochi, it said.

With the addition of Kochi, the Delhi-based airline now flies to 15 domestic destinations. It has already announced the launch of services to Chandigarh from Delhi and Hyderabad from May 2.

Vistara, which is 51 per cent owned by Tata Sons and rest 49 per cent by the Singapore Airlines, plans to operate  over 400 weekly flights under the on-going summer schedule.
