Bhubaneswar, Aug 6: A new web portal of the Home department, designed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) was launched today by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the State Secretariat.
Chief Secretary AP Padhi, Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister UN Behera, Principal Secretary Home, Asit Kumar Tripathy, Special Secretary, Home Lalit Das and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
The web portal has been developed with accessibility guidelines which will help the differently-abled persons to see as well as hear the website.
The website is available in two languages, English and Odia. The portal has been hosted in National Cloud MeghRaj and audited for cyber security. According to sources, the portal facilitates access to all directorates of departments along with various citizen services like Secretariat Pass, Tracking the Missing Child, Reservation of Odisha Bhawan, CCTNS and other such services.
Social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter are available through the portal which has also a women and employee corner.
