SAMBALPUR, JAN 11: One of the oldest university of Odisha, Sambalpur University, will soon boast of Wi-Fi facility in the Jyoti Vihar campus.
The State Government has sanctioned Rs 30 lakh for the first phase. According to initial estimate, it will require around Rs 2 crore to set up a wi-fi zone. The state government has sanctioned Rs 30 lakh in the first phase and a tender has already been floated for the first phase, he said.
Once the project is completed, wi-fi facility will be available in all the departments, hostels and the library. Even the students and the staff members can get the benefit. The varsity students are very much excited about the new project.
It has been a long-pending demand of the students. It will help them download study materials and prepare for competitive examinations.
