Puri, May 11: Lodging a written complaint before the chief administrator of the Sri Jagannath Temple Administration, a servitor of the Srimandir, Raghunath Gochhikar demanded a probe against a woman and her son, who allegedly entered the Bhitarakatha (inner barricade) within the sanctum sanctorum inside the temple, late last night.

Though the woman and her son were stopped by the servitors to enter the area and reach the Bhitarakatha at around 9.40 last night, they still entered the premises without paying any heed, said sources.

Notably, entry to the Bhitarakatha has been prohibited as repair works of the Jagmohan is underway.

According to sources, the woman and son have been identified as the wife and child of Rajesh Verma, CM’s Principal secretary, who has been inspecting the repair work with the Puri collector and the SJTA officials in the temple.

In the meanwhile, Sri Jagannath Sena had also staged a demonstration and have lodged a complaint at the Srimandir police station, demanding immediate arrest of the woman and her son for getting into the prohibited area.
