Women cooperative leaders share views on successful farming

Bhubaneswar, Nov 28: Nearly 200 women cooperative leaders from Malkangiri, Kalahandi and Khurda shared their success stories here at a Vegetable Growers’ Cooperative Leaders’ conclave here.

Madhyam Foundation organised the conclave in order sensitize the farmers about the cultivation.

Members of Malyabanta, Maa Bauli, Maa Manikeswari cooperative societies participated in the conclave.

Madhyam Foundation chief Subrat Singh Deo said, as many as 7319 women members of these societies have made profit of Rs 38,000 to Rs 42,000 by cultivating vegetable of different varieties on 4,098 acres of land.
