Kerala Health Department identified 251 persons who have come in contact with the 12-year-old Boy, who succumbed to Nipah Virus Infection. Out of those, 38 are in isolation at the Kozhikode Medical College hospital. But, 11 persons of them are having symptoms.
Health Minister Veena George said, of 251 contacts, 129 are health workers.
Parents and few relatives of the child are in contact list.
Special Laboratory has been set up at the medical college hospital by the Pune NIV team, informed Health Minister.

Samples of eight persons have been sent to Pune NIV (National Institute of Virology) for testing, Health Department said.
Kozhikode, neighbouring Kannur, Malappuram and Wayanad districts are on high alert.
