Bhubaneswar: January 23: Odisha reported 130 new Coronavirus infections on 22nd January, informed I & PR Department. It is in decreasing trend. With 130 new cases, the total cases in India increased to 3,34,150 and out of that, 3,30,757 persons have already recovered from the disease.
From today’s total 130 cases, 76 people were in quarantine and rest 54 are local contact cases.
As per the information, Angul district reported 12 new cases, Balasore 10 cases, Bargarh 13 cases, Bhadrak 1 case, Cuttack 7 cases, Deogarh 4 cases, Dhenkanal 1 case, Ganjam 1 case, Jagatsinghpur 5 cases, Jajpur 8 cases, Jharsuguda 2 cases, Kalahandi 2 cases, Kendrapara 1 case, Keonjhar 1 case, Khurda 6 cases, Koraput 4 cases, Mayurbhanj 3 cases, Nabarangpur 3 cases, Nayagarh 1 case, Nuapada 4 cases, Puri 15 cases, Samablpur 10 cases, Sundargarh 14 cases and 2 cases reported from State Pool.
Yesterday, 212 persons recovered from the disease. As reported, 1,436 active cases are there in State.
