Cuttack, Feb 17: On Thursday it was declared that Sourav Das topped the Orissa Administrative Services (OAS)-2015 examination. Out of the 1309 aspirants who sat for viva voce after clearing the mains, 670 cleared the test. The result is available on the website of Orissa Public Service Commission (OPSC). Out of a total of 670 posts, 341 posts are unreserved while 107 posts are reserved for SC, 149 for ST and 73 posts for the SEBC.
OPSC had conducted the examination for 670 OAS posts between February and May. Personality tests were conducted of the candidates in December last year by the Commission. The examination was held for two categories. The category-I examination was held for 69 posts of OAS Junior Branch and 24 posts of Odisha Police Service (OPS) Junior Branch. The category-II examination was conducted for nine Odisha Cooperative Service (OCS) posts, 400 Odisha Revenue Service (ORS) posts and 168 Odisha Taxation and Account Service (OTAS) posts.
