Balasore, Feb 17: Last night, at Nilagiri block under Berhampur police station, stones were hurled at the vehicle of senior BJP leader Pratap Sarangi by a group of people supposedly to be the opponents of BJP. The incident happened when Sarangi was returning home after attending a party meeting as part of his election campaign for the Zilla Parishad (ZP) candidate of zone 11 here. Sarangi lodged a compalint at the PS and also blamed several BJD party workers for it. He along with some of his supporters also staged dharna in front of the police station demanding arrest of the BJD workers. Likewise, today in Bhanjanagar of Ganjam, the vehicle of Polsara MLA Srikant Sahu was attacked when he was returning after attending a party meeting.
