4 Homemade Remedies for Leg Pain

From all parts of the body we regularly ignore the legs. Pain in the feet is one of the most common problems of the people. This pain is caused by excessive walking, uncomfortable shoes, ingrown foot nail or overlong standing.Here are some homemade remedies to relieve pain

Bitter salt-The best way to relax after a long day walking or wearing uncomfortable shoes is with the bitter salt. Fill a bowl with warm water and add 4 tablespoons of biter salt and soak your feet for 15 minutes. After that dry them and apply good moisturizing cream. This remedy increases the blood circulation and reduces swelling.

Massage Oil-It helps in relieving muscles pain. First, massage your feet by circular motions and then go though on all the foot to the toes. Pay particular attention on the fingers and gently pull them one after another. You can use the oil of chamomile, olive oil and lavender to massage and to stimulate circulation in the legs.

Diet-You can alleviate pain by consuming of healthy food. Swellings in the legs occur when the fluid is retained in the body. Food products such as bananas are rich sources of potassium and therefore are considered as natural cure for fluid retention. Fish, yogurt and meat contain small amounts of sodium and you should eat them to prevent the edema formation.

Hot and Cold-Intermittent hot and cold water accelerates blood circulation in the legs. Water relieves pain from varicose veins and it is determined that slows their appearance. Soak your feet in warm water for 2-3 minutes and do it the same in cold water for 5-6 minutes. Repeat this procedure 4 times with little breaks. Hot water will improve the circulation while cold calms the inflammation.
