Paradip, March 11: IFFCO Paradip Unit had celebrated its 45th National Safety Week in their Plant for the period 04th – 10th March, 2016.
During this period all the employees of IFFCO, Contract workers, DAV school students and family members of the Township have actively participated and assembled during the concluding ceremony of this Safety Week on 10th March, 2016.
On this occasion, Kamalendu Mohapatra, Dy. Director – Factories & Boilers was the Chief Guest. Sri Manoj Kumar Panda, Asst. Director (F&B) and Ashish Kuamr Panda SGM-cum-Unit Head of IFFCO Paradip Unit were the Guests of Honour on this function.
CN Shah, Joint GM (Tech.) of IFFCO Paradip Unit on his concluding day speech, said that as on 10th March, 2016, IFFCO has completed 565 accident-free days.
He further emphasized on strengthening the safety measures while on work.
Manoj K. Panda, in his speech, addressed the gathering that safety is a collective jobs of all employees, partners and is not an individual job. In the last more than 3 years, IFFCO has achieved this accident-free days, which is an example in the State of Odisha in particular and as a whole of the country.
The Unit Head of IFFCO had emphasized the employees, contract workers on the Safety Week that they should treat the Week as a ‘tyohar’ (festival) on each day for the whole year. He further said that all employees, partners have taken pain to fulfill this 565 accident free days, which is a noble cause and pride for each and every employee and family members of IFFCO.
