Tapi, March 12: One unit of Kakrapar atomic power station in south Gujarat was shut down on Friday due to leak in its primary heat transport system. Unit 1 was shut down at 9 am on Friday.
According to reports, the leak in its primary heat transport (PHT) system led to the snag because of which it was shut down. Radiation levels in the plant premises and outside were normal.
