Bhubaneswar, March 17: National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), Utkal Chapter, Bhubaneswar celebrated its 37th Foundation Day on Tuesday here.
Director, AIIMS Bhubaneswar Dr AK Mohapatra and Director HR NALCO Syama Charan Padhy graced the function.
The programme was attended by many senior HR professionals from various industries and academic institutions as well as the student-members of PMIR dept of Utkal University, Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar.
Chairman, NIPM, Utkal Chapter AK Sahoo, welcomed the participants.
Padhy, who is also the former Regional Vice President (ER) of NIPM, highlighted the challenges the HR professionals have to face in the coming days.
He also spoke about the activities being taken up by NIPM in general and Utkal Chapter in specific.
Dr Mahapatra emphasized on creating a positive work culture to have a better society.
A ‘Souvenir’ was released on the occasion and prizes were given away to the winners and runners up students, who participated in the NIPM Quiz competition 2016.
