Bhubaneswar, April 22: The Commissionerate police Thursday arrested elusive sex racket kingpin Sunil Meher from Kolkata airport.
The Quick Action Team (QAT) of the Twin City Commissionerate police arrested the elusive kingpin from the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport in Dum Dum area in Kolkata, Twin City Commissioner YB Khurania revealed.
According to sources, police got a tip-off about Meher’s movement. He was changing his location from Ahmedabad to Kolkata.
Tracking Meher’s movement, police pounced on him when he was trying to board a flight from Ahmedabad to Kolkata.
Notably, in March this year, Commissionerate police had formed a special team to nab Sunil Meher who managed to give police slip repeatedly.
