Bhubaneswar:August 03: The Odisha State Pollution Control Board (OSPCB), as per the direction of the National Green Tribunal (NGT) has issued closure notices to 10 hotels in Balasore, Bhadrak and Mayurbhanj for running their business without the approval of the pollution control board.
No consent has been taken by the hotels nor have they applied for the necessary permission, informed OSPB regional officer Prakash Kumar Mohapatra. Following which the notices have been issued to them, he further added.
Acting upon this, the hotel owners said the closure notices sent by OSPCB are unlawful.
