Cuttack, Sept 5: A man named Balabhadra Nayak was arrested by the Malgodown police today on the basis of allegedly vandalizing a Ganesh puja pandal located in Jobra area.
As per the information, Nayak allegedly rushed into the pandal, ransacked the mandap and broke the idol of Lord Ganesh.
A pistol and live bullets were seized from Nayak.
The reason behind him doing this act is suspected to be result of a past enmity. However, the exact reason is yet to be ascertained.
