Rourkela, Oct 5: Today the Vigilance officials conducted a raid at the houses of the Headmaster, Pramod Samal, of a primary school at Koira block in Sundargarh district being alleged of amassing disproportionate assets. The accused is the headmaster of the Kudamusa Primary School at Koira. Based on a search warrant, the Vigilance sleuths raided four places simultaneously. His Government quarter and a new two-storey building at Rourkela, ancestral home and father-in-law’s house at Binjharpur in Jajpur district were raided. All this was informed by the Keonjhar Vigilance DSP, Harekrushna Majhi.
Notably, Samal after all this has claimed to take voluntary retirement on Sept 30 but that is yet to be officially confirmed.
