Bhubaneswar, Oct 6: A complaint against a real estate firm named Seven Hills Sands have been registered by a group of persons on the basis of allegedly duping the investors. The complaint had been registered with the Economic Offensive Wing (EOW).
As per the information, the investors had promised to get single room flat in a housing project located in puri but after cornering the money the firm went back on the deal.
Luring the investors by floating an attractive scheme, the company did not hand over the flat after taking money and in return the firm told that the house will be rented by the firm and the rent amount worth Rs 18,000 will be paid to them, said one duped investor. Around for one year they had being paid the rent amount but the company after some time sold some flat to others.
However, EOW informed that the charges against the firm has being verified and in another fraud case the firm owner had been arrested recently by the Puri police.
