Bhadrak, Oct 10: In an unfortunate incident, two persons lost their life and nine sustained critical injuries as a Bolero in which they were travelling dashed into a road side tree on Monday morning at Bhandaripokhari, Bhadrak.
The injured persons were rescued and have been hospitalized in the Bhadrak hospital. While a person identified as Dhania Singh died on the spot, Mamata Mandal died at the hospital.
As per the information, the incident happened when all of them were returning home from Cuttack after visiting Durga puja pandals there on the Maha Ashtami. The driver lost control of the vehicle due to which it dashed into a tree at Palada Chhak in Bhandaripokhari.
As the condition of an injured person deteriorated, he was shifted to Cuttack’s SCB Medial College and Hospital.
