ATMs having new currency notes across nation opens today

Bhubaneswar, Nov 11: All the ATMs across the nation will start giving new denomination of Rs 500 and Rs 2000 currency notes from today onwards. It’s stated that customers can withdraw up to Rs 2,000 per card per day, to an aggregate limit of Rs 20,000 per week. The ATM withdrawal limit will be increased to Rs 4,000 per card per day after a few days. However there were reports of several ATM counters remaining closed even after 10 AM in Bhubaneswar and other parts of Odisha today.

Notably, ATMs across the country had remained shut on November 9 and 10 after the government announced demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes on November 8.
