Jharsuguda, Nov 17: Today the cops arrested a duo from Rourkela as these two are stated to be involved in the loot of Bank of India’s Beheramal branch that happened on May 5. The police has also seized a revolver from them.
It’s stated that on May 5, a gang of armed looters looted Rs 86 lakh cash from the above mentioned bank. Around 10-12 masked dacoits arrived in a vehicle and went inside the bank. They captivated the in-charge branch manager and all the customers present at gunpoint and locked them up inside a room. They collected cash worth over Rs 86 lakh from the cash counter and the bank’s strong room.
