Bengal Tiger’s body found in Odisha’s Bolangir

Bolangir, Dec 29: Yesterday, a dead body of a male Royal Bengal tiger inside Jhalialiti Forest near Bolagir-Buapada border was recovered by the forest range officers.

Some locals first found the tiger carcass with blood exuding form its mouth and after being informed the Forest Dept officials rushed to the spot and recovered the body.

The body was later sent for the post mortem.

An investigation regarding the actual reason for death of the tiger will be carried out, informed, Rashmi Ranjan Nayak, Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Bolangir.
