Bhubaneswar: Due to formation of a new low pressure area over north Andaman sea and adjoining areas, the northern and southern parts of Odisha is likely to experience heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours.
The low pressure area over north Andaman Sea and adjoining East-central Bay of Bengal lies over central Bay of Bengal and its neighbourhood on Saturday, Met office said on Saturday.
Rain and thundershower would occur at many places over south Odisha and at a few places over North Odisha, it said.
