Bhadrak, Jan 20: A couple who were in love consumed poison at Totasahi in Bhadrak. As a result, the boy died, while the girl was hospitalised in critical condition.
Identified as Prashant, the youth and a girl who were in love with each other consumed poison after their family members opposed for their relation.
While prashant died on the spot, the girl was rescued and was admitted to SCB medical college and hospital in Cuttack.
