Bhubaneswar, Jan 21: BJP national president, Amit Shah during his one day visit to Odisha on Friday, choose to stay away from talking to media and held discussions with party’s office bearers here. Shah and the party activists expressed their enthusiasm about the ensuing panchayat poll results. Union Petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan who too accompanied Shah during the tour stated that Shah took stock of the political situation in Odisha. Union minister Jual Oram said that Shah boosted all the party leaders to work hard for the elections inspite of whatever political scenarios persists. He guided the party leaders on party’s future approach towards BJD and discussed strategies for the approaching panchayat elections.
Upon taking reign of the saffron party, this was Amit Shah’s third visit to Odisha. He had visited earlier in November, 2016 where he gave a clarion call for regime change in Odisha and he had first visited Odisha in January 2015 where he gave a sharp departure from his stoic silence against Odisha CM, Naveen Patnaik.
