Hirakhand Express Mishap; NIA started inquiry:

Rayagada: Jan 23: Team of National Investigation Agency (NIA) reached Hirakhand Express mishap site at Kuneru in Andhra Pradesh and met the injured at Rayagada Hospital on Monday. Suspecting a sabotage in derailment of Bhubaneswar bound train, the Home Ministry may ask Central agency to see whether it is a subversive act or not. Commissioner Railway safety will also do a thorough inquiry to find out the exact reason of accident. The commissioner will meet the injured at Rayagada and Parvatipuram hospital in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh respectively today besides visiting the mishap spot in the afternoon. Passengers survived can also appear before the probe team as witness to the tragic mishap. They can depose before the office of circle superintendent at Dondaparthi in Vishakhapatnam from tomorrow. On the other side, officials of CID from Andhra Pradesh have already started inquiry on the sad incident.
