Sambalpur, Apr 10: In a tragic incident, the infant, who was rescued after found floating in a basket in a canal at Sambalpur, died on 8th of April while undergoing treatment at the Sadar hospital in the city.
Notably, few locals who spotted, rescued and admitted the baby to the hospital, where the baby was undergoing treatment at the SNCU. But unfortunately, due to over loss of blood because of a internal haemorrhage, the baby passed away on the early evening hours of 8th of April.
Though the police have started the investigation into the abandonment case of the baby, the actual reasons behind the abandonment case of the baby is yet to come out.
