Bhubaneswar, Apr 10: As per a direct order from the school and mass education minister Debi Prasad Mishra, to curb corrupt practices in education, he has asked all the District Education Officers (DEO) to take serious action against those government school teachers who are involved in any private tutorials / coaching centres.
As per an allegation, school teachers who run private tutorials are pressing students and parents to take coaching from them. In another allegation, it is also heard that the teachers are also taking money from the students to help them pass in the board exams.
Notably, as of Mishra, has ordered the DEOs to look out for the situation in their respective districts and to take strict action against any teacher, if he / she is found guilty in any regards.
