Cuttack, May 18: Yesterday the Orissa High Court served notice to Congress leader Bapi Sarkhel posing questions to him as to why the bail given to him on Apr 17 should not be withdrawn in a murder case. Sarkhel was detained by the Paradip police in Nov 2016 on charges of allegedly involving in a murder case of Mahendra Swain but he was given bail last month. Justice D P Choudhury reacting to the petition, filed by the State Government at the HC to urge to recall the bail granted to Bapi, issued notice to Sharkel asking him to file the counters. The Congress leader had surrendered himself before the Jagatsinghpur superintendent of police in 2016 as executive order of a search notice was issued against him.
