Union Min Dharmendra Pradhan send written request to Sushma Swaraj for setting of 7 more passport offices in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, May 22: Today the Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan made a request to the External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj for setting up seven more Passport Sewa Kendras in Odisha. He stated to media that there is a need to open up more POPSKs/PSKs in order to gear up the issue of passports and therefore  he himself has lettered to the External Affairs minister. Pradhan mentioned about Angul, Berhampur, Balasore, Kendrapara, Bolangir, Jajpur and Bhawanipatna, the places that require the POPSKs/PSKs. A large mass of skilled/semi-skilled workforce, students/research scholars, business communities and tourists in these places have demanded the same. He also expressed his thanks to Sushama for the sanction of three POPSKs at Rourkela, Sambalpur and Koraput.
