Locals Demand renovation of the same
Puri, May 25: Going against the decision of the Puri district admin over demolishing 33 unsafe buildings in the city, various groups yesterday protested against the decision of the admin, thus saying “the District Admin’s decision of demolition is not a good step, rathe they should think of renovating the historical buildings of the pilgrim city”.
Though the cases regarding to several buildings are still pending at courts, the DA is working ton solve the matter out of courts, said Puri Sub Collector Madhusudan Mishra.
Notably, acting on the works department engineer’s report, the DA on Wednesday issued a notice stating the demolition of 33 unsafe buildings in the city.
