Raja festival celebrated at Panthanivas Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, June 13: With the arrival of the festival of Raja, the Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC), has today organised the Raja Mahotsav at Panthanivas. The celebrations which started today will continue till the 16th of June.

On its inaugural day, MP Prasanna Patasani, Culture Minister Ashok Panda and MLA Priyadarshi Mishra graced the occasion along with inaugurated the festival. The tourism department is also celebrating the festival at its Panthanivas at Puri, Cuttack, Chandipur, Rourkela, Gopalpur and Paradip for four days.

The 4-day festival will attract people with its beautifully decorated Raja Doli (Swing) along with various types of traditional food items and the Raja special Pan that are being served at the Panthanivas.

On the other hand, a major food festival has also been initiated at the Unit-III IDCO Exhibition ground. Eminent restaurateurs from around the state have also opened up their outlets serving delicious Odia traditional food.
