Minister stresses awareness on Right to Education Act

Bhubaneswar, Dec 04: The second education advisory council meeting was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of school and mass education minister Debi Prasad Mishra.

Attending the meeting, minister said official to expedite the process of creating awareness among people about Right to Education Act. Mishra also suggested panchyati raj institutions be involved for better management of schools at the village labels.

It was decided to give training to school teachers at the district levels at regular interval, with the help of higher education department to enhance the quality education.

The first meeting of the council was held March 10.
